We are so excited to announce our partnership with Simpson Housing Services and Home Spun Events for their annual fundraiser called Art 4 Shelter which is on May 1st 2025. We get to make art together, and donate it to a great cause!

Here’s where you come in: all members are invited to submit art for donation. Simpson sells your work and all of the proceeds go to this impactful organization. Your work can be submitted for the live gallery at the event, an online auction, and NEW this year the marketplace (for items less than $99).

Checkout the guidelines here and for anyone who would like to submit a piece to be considered as a “Featured Artist” at the event, the deadline for submission is January 31st and you can learn more about what’s included in being featured HERE.

You are welcome to donate pieces (one form per piece) without participating in the FORMA partnership, but here’s what we’re doing together as a community clayroom.

• Kick-Off & Member Mixer December 8th 4-6pm @ Forma
  • Sips & Snacks, get all the details of how we are collaborating with Simpson Housing
  • No commitment necessary after the event and no piece minimum.
• Free Reclaim & Special Potters Hours
  • Come to any potters hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and get free reclaim for any piece you are donating.
  • You can also get free reclaim for donated pieces, but we are going to invite everyone to come work on our donations together when you can.
• Free Firing
  • Any piece donated (make a note in each piece under glaze notes) will be comped and you will NOT be charged for firing.
• Closing Event & Submissions
  • Forma will help you with submission forms, and we’ll have a closing celebration to marvel at all the work we’ve created together as a community.
