During this 4-week hand building class you will learn fundamental techniques of clay slab construction to make hand built functional and decorative pieces like mugs, cups and small dishes and trays. We will experiment with textures, shapes and surface decoration to create truly unique one-of-a-kind pottery pieces.
Whether you’re looking to explore a new hobby, express your artistic side, or simply unwind and de-stress through a hands-on creative experience, our hand building class is the perfect opportunity. No prior experience is required; just a passion for creativity and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
- $185 per person for 4 weeks
- Each class is 2 hours
- Includes one 25 lb bag of clay
- Firing fees included (up to $100 @$0.04/cub inch)
- 12 person max per class
- POTTERS HOURS: Unlimited studio time during any instructor potters hours
