During this 8-week hand-building class, you’ll learn fundamental techniques of clay slab construction to create functional and decorative pieces like mugs, cups, small dishes, and trays. Each week, you’ll expand your skills, experiment with textures, shapes, and surface decoration, and gain the confidence to continue your hand-building journey.

No prior experience is required—just a passion for creativity and a willingness to get your hands dirty.

•  $395 per person for 8 weeks
• Each class is 2.5 hours
• Includes enough clay to make many many things
• Firing fees included ($50 = 5 pennies/cubic inch)
• 8 person max per class
• Students will have 16 hours during the 8 weeks of outside studio time which can be used for missed sessions (travel, work, illness) or to get some extra studio time.
• POTTERS HOURS: It’s like office hours, and an instructor will be here to help. These are the times when you can sign-up for make-up or extra studio time.
