Kid/Teen Potters Hours – a flexible, fun ceramics program designed just for smaller humans aged 9 and up! Perfect for both returning students and those new to Forma, Potters Hours allows young artists to learn and create at their own pace. Either spinning at the wheel or hand building, there is a little something for everyone. Here’s how it works:
Flexible Packages: Parents can purchase a package of hours that can be used whenever it suits your schedule.
Skill Progression: If your kid/teen has never played with clay before, they will be guided by an instructor through the skills necessary to complete the Forma prerequisites for Potters Hours. Once completed, these basic skills will give your kid the flexibility to work on their own, having more “open studio time.”
At Your Own Pace: Young people can work on their pottery projects over multiple sessions, storing their pieces on a shelf at Forma between visits.
Guided Independence: During Potters hours, there will always be a knowledgeable Forma instructor on hand. Kids can explore their creativity with the freedom to work on their own, but with expert guidance when needed. Think office hours with:
