Mandy’s Class Description for Forma: Next Level Surface Design w/Mandy

Join Mandy for 3 hours to learn how to elevate your surface design, through multiple design deep dives. Topics will include 

• Printmaking techniques for greenware 
  • monoprinting 
  • screenprinting
  • stencils
  • diy underglaze transfers 
  • layering transfers (Storytelling with collage)

• Third Firing techniques for glazeware 
  • lusters  
  • digital waterslide decals 

Plan to bring a few greenware pieces to work with in various dryness levels up to and including leather hard and up to 3 small glaze fired pieces to experiment with third firing techniques. You may bring your own underglaze transfers, lusters and/or waterslide decals or we will provide a small selection for you to choose from during the workshop. 3rd firings for the glazeware decal + luster pieces will be included in the workshop cost. 

Must bring materials:

3-4 greenware pieces (up to and leatherhard. No bone dry)

2-3 small glazeware pieces (already glaze fired, at least one in light colors or white)
