Calling only those ages 13 and up! In this immersive, 2 week (8 session) clay camp, teens will be able to do both wheel throwing and hand building! They’ll be learning slab, coil and pinch hand building techniques as well as more advanced sculptural elements.

We will get to experience the feel of a professional ceramic studio atmosphere while learning the how’s and why’s of pottery by creating several hand built works of art, then further exploring clay through the potter’s wheel! Basic wheel throwing skills like centering, pulling and opening the form are covered; along with trimming, glazing and a variety of surface decorating techniques. Everyone will be successful, no matter your skill level or experience. Teens will be encouraged to experiment and most of all have fun!
