A Minnesota native, Mandy has 19 years of experience teaching ceramics to high school students in both Minnesota and Colorado. Mandy earned her BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Denver and her MAFA from Regis University with a concentration in ceramics. The marriage of these two learning paths are evident in Mandy’s work as she blends traditional ceramic form with modern digital surface treatments to create pieces with a collaged, mixed media feel. Mandy lives in the neighborhood with her husband, two kids and two dogs, Conway Twitty and Marty McFly.
