Plans

Forma offers multiple membership options to fit different schedules and levels of use. Members can switch plans at any time.

    $25 / mo +

    Pay-as-you-go studio time

    Best For: Occasional visitors who want maximum flexibility and may take breaks between sessions. Work at your own pace by purchasing studio hours as needed, without a fixed monthly commitment.

    $125 / mo

    12 hours / mo

    Best For: 1–2 visits per week. Ideal for beginners and those looking for consistent studio time without a heavy commitment. Hours renew monthly, and unused time rolls over.

    Unlimited 24/7 access

    Best For: Dedicated makers who want unrestricted access, additional workspace, and expanded personal storage.

Personal Cubbies 

A cubby is a personal storage space for clay, tools, and materials.

  • Standard size: 1.5 cubic feet (15 × 15 × 12)
  • Available as a monthly add-on for Flex and Hobbyist members
  • Maker membership includes a larger cubby (18 × 15 × 15)

Cubbies are separate from work shelf space.

Work Shelves 

Work shelves are shared spaces for storing work in progress.

  • Same size as standard cubbies (1.5 cubic feet)
  • Available to all members
  • Clearly labeled for easy organization of greenware and bisqueware

All memberships include ample work shelf space for typical use.

The Flex Membership

Monthly Price (without cubby): $25

Monthly Price (with cubby): $50

Studio Time (pay-as-you-go):

  • 10 hours — $15/hr (expires after 60 days) — $150 total*
  • 25 hours — $14/hr (expires after 90 days) — $350 total*
  • 50 hours — $12/hr (expires after 6 months) — $600 total*

Firing Fees: $0.06 per cubic inch (glaze firing); unlimited bisque firing

Work Shelves: Up to 3 spaces (4.5 cubic feet total)

*Unused hours expire after the stated period.

The Hobbyist Membership

Monthly Price (without cubby): $125

Monthly Price (with cubby): $150

Studio Time: 12 hours/month (rollover included)

Additional Hours: $12/hr

Firing Fees: $0.06 per cubic inch (glaze firing); unlimited bisque firing

Work Shelves: Up to 4 spaces (6 cubic feet total)

The Maker Membership

Monthly Price: $250 (cubby included)

Studio Time: Unlimited access

Cubbies: Includes 2 personal cubbies

Firing Fees: $0.06 per cubic inch (glaze firing); unlimited bisque firing

Work Shelves: Up to 8 spaces (12 cubic feet total)

Firing Credit Bonus:

Earn $20 toward next month’s firing fees for every $100 spent on firing.
