Then a private Claytime event at Forma’s Community Clayroom is the solution for you.

We provide the clay and you just come to play. Whether it’s a private anniversary celebration with just you and your loved one, or a 20 person event for your team or bookclub, we will tailor a private pottery experience just for you. Hand-building or wheel throwing, we will come up with a perfect workshop flow so that everyone in your group has a blast.

Get Started

Wheel throwing Claytime includes learning the basics of making a vessel, allowing you plenty of time to get the feel for this ancient art form. Keep up to 2 pieces of pottery, and pick your favorite color. The Forma team will trim your pots, stamp your initials on the bottom, fire them, glaze them and fire them a second time.

Hand Building Claytime participants will explore ceramic techniques with their hands and tools alone! This experience will not involve the potter’s wheel, but you will learn ancient clay techniques like coil building and slab building to create functional pieces you can be proud of. Choose from a menu of unique hand-built projects, where you’ll glaze your work as part of this workshop, and Forma will fire them for you.
